2. Principle: data minimisation
The protection of your personal data is important to us. This website sets no cookies, embeds no external services (such as fonts, maps, analytics or advertising networks) and uses no tracking. All parts of the website (images, stylesheets, the small script for the menu) are loaded exclusively from our own server; fonts are not downloaded – the system fonts available on your device are used. You can reach us via the contact form, by e-mail or by phone; the form sets no cookies and uses no third-party services (not even an external captcha).
3. Server log files
When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically. These are usually:
- browser type and version
- operating system used
- referrer URL
- host name of the accessing computer / shortened IP address
- time of the server request
This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free and secure operation of the website. The log files are deleted after a short time.
4. Contact form and contact by e-mail
If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optionally company and phone number, and your message) is stored in order to process your enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (handling your enquiry). The data is used exclusively to process your request and is not passed on to third parties. We delete this data as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, or restrict processing where statutory retention obligations exist. Enquiries via the contact form are sent by e-mail to our mailbox sales@card.de. To protect against misuse, we additionally transmit the IP address and the time of the enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR); to prevent mass submissions, the server remembers for one hour how often an address has sent the form (as a non-reversible hash value).
5. Recipients / processors
The website is operated by a hosting provider that processes the data on our behalf within the EU on the basis of a data processing agreement in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
To exercise your rights, an informal message to info@card.de is sufficient.
7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The competent authority for Baden-Württemberg is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
9. Note on the CaRD Plan application
This privacy policy applies to this product site. For the operation of the CaRD Plan application itself (hosted by CaRD or by the customer), the contractual agreements with the respective operator apply, in particular a data processing agreement where CaRD operates the application for you.
