Predecessors release their successors only when all prerequisites are done. Whoever forces a step anyway has to give a reason – it is in the history with person and time. Plan check and consistency check find missing predecessors, cycles and empty responsibilities before it gets serious.
Everyone on the same state
Own teams, manufacturers and service providers work in the same live board, and every status change appears for everyone at once. Whoever is next is notified by mail, in the browser or, if you wish, in a Microsoft Teams channel – and reports back from the phone.
Complements what is approved
CaRD Plan does not replace officially approved procedures or approved maintenance or engineering systems. It steers the execution by many people and delivers the closing report and project archive as a building block of your documentation.
Frequently asked questions
Does CaRD Plan replace an aviation MRO or maintenance system?
No. Work cards, certificates of release to service and airworthiness records stay in your approved systems and procedures. CaRD Plan steers procedures with many participants – such as retrofits or system changeovers – and evidences their execution.
How is a four-eyes principle mapped?
As a check step of its own, assigned to another person and released only once the executing step is done. For both steps the history shows who completed them and when.
Can manufacturers and service providers take part?
Yes. Access grants apply per project or plan, read or write. External parties see only their own plans and report their steps back themselves.
