Food and beverage: change over, test, release – with evidence
In food production much follows a fixed procedure: product changeovers with cleaning and release, sampling, checks at the critical control points, recall drills. CaRD Plan turns them into plans that production, hygiene and quality assurance work through together live – with evidence for every step.
Request a demoTypical procedures
Wherever several teams complete steps in a fixed order and the release only comes after the checks.
- Product and format changeovers with allergen cleaning, swab tests and line release
- Checks at the critical control points (HACCP) and their verification
- Sampling and batch release, incoming goods and final inspection
- Traceability tests and recall drills against the clock
- Preparation for customer and certification audits, for example to IFS Food or BRCGS
The recall drill against the clock
In a traceability or recall drill every minute counts: who checks raw materials, who finished goods, who informs whom? On the live board management sees which step is running and which is waiting; afterwards the times of every step are in the report.
Reporting back from the line
Shift leads, hygiene and quality assurance report their steps straight from the phone or tablet – with a finding and photo where needed. The line release only becomes startable when the checks before it are done.
Complements your HACCP plan and QMS
CaRD Plan replaces neither your HACCP plan nor LIMS, batch management in the ERP or inspections by authorities and certifiers. It steers the execution by many people and delivers the closing report and archive as a building block of your documentation.

Frequently asked questions
Does CaRD Plan replace our HACCP plan?
No. Hazard analysis, critical control points and limits stay in your HACCP plan. CaRD Plan makes sure the defined checks and verifications are completed in the right order and evidenced.
How does CaRD Plan help with allergen changeovers?
The changeover becomes a template: run the line empty, clean, take swab samples, assess the result, release the line. The release only becomes startable when all steps before it are done; every step is in the report with person and time.
Can several plants use the same procedure?
Yes. One template can be used in every plant as a plan of its own; what one plant learns flows into the template for all. Access grants per project or plan define who sees which plans.
